Ftax MTD for IT will submit your incomes and expenses Quarterly update forms, enable you to complete your End-of-Year tax return, calculate your tax liability, and make your Final Declaration to HMRC.

Note – expected form availability timescales are detailed below. The Ftax team will help you set up to record income and expense transactions. This is your ONLY immediate MTD obligation.

  • Incomes and expenses data may be imported into the forms EITHER via .CSV files OR via the Ftax Cashbook (which will enable multiple person property ownership).
  • The End-of-Year form will initially include the Self-employment, UK Property, Foreign Property, Employment, UK Savings, UK Dividends, Capital Gains, losses and pensions sections.
  • Further sections will be added to the End-of-Year form by April 2027.
  • Simple PDF copy of the completed tax calculation, including the tax liability.
  • Your Ftax Account will automatically record and archive all tax filing activities.
  • Automatic form upgrades throughout the full tax filing cycle.
  • The Ftax team will help you set up to record income and expense transactions in accordance with MTD requirements. Note – HMRC do not expect you to submit anything before July 2026.
  • The Quarterly update forms are expected to be ready for use by the end of April 2026. The End-of-Year form will become available before July 2026.
  • Initially, only self-employment income and expense data may be recorded in the Ftax Cashbook. UK property and foreign property data entry will be enabled by the end of April 2026.
